Westchester Camp and Summer Activities Fair (www.westchestercampfair.com) will be held on Sunday, February 5 from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza in White Plains. See the FACEBOOK page. It will bring together more than 60 camps, including day, specialty and overnight camps. Think about how much you can accomplish in one afternoon having so many of the camps in one place!
Plus, at 2 p.m., Catherine Pearlman, Ph.D., LMSW, will speak about “How to Choose the First Camp for Your Child.” You’ll hear expert advice about how to pick the best fit for your young child and get tools and questions to ask camp directors. For those with older children, Jill Tipograph, executive director of the Maine Camp Experience will lead a panel about “Selecting a Sleepaway Camp” at 1 p.m.
The event is sponsored by Maine Camp Experience, Webster Bank, Cablevision News 12, and radio station 103.9 WFAS, and is hosted by NYMetroParents and Westchester Parent.
