Sahara Sam’s with our crew

Last week, our family joined our dear friends from My Best of Both Worlds to visit Sahara Sam’s Indoor Water Park in West Berlin, New Jersey.
Sahara Sam’s opened in 2009 as New Jersey’s first free-standing, indoor water park with 58,000 square feet of aquatic and arcade attractions. Each year since, they have added to their attractions, made expansions, and added new programs. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that Sahara Sam’s will be adding an outdoor water park, set to open sometime next month. It is going to feature a 25 meter leisure pool, a children’s splash park, full service bar, sand volleyball courts, and a 12,000 square foot wave pool. When we pulled into the parking lot, we could see the work in progress. Looks great!
Our family was provided four complimentary passes in return for our promotion of Sahara Sam’s. Living on Long Island, I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to get to, as it only took about two hours to get there. The kids were excited, but I think Paul and I were more excited. We love to swim and slide, and it had been since last summer since we got the opportunity to do so!
